Making these bunnies and carrots was addicting!
This class is on Creativebug and comes with a template and video lessons that take you step by step. This is my first time hand sewing little critters. I had originally only made one set (big bunny, small bunny, and carrot), but because this doesn’t require a lot of felt I had plenty to make another set.
Once you learn how to make them, there is something soothing about hand stitching them up that I couldn’t stop. It became routine. I would get my coffee in the morning and then take a seat at the table and work on these guys. It was the perfect way to start the day–to get a little creative before the chaos of the day began.
And aren’t they perfect for spring! I think this project has put me on to stitching up a bunch more little softies.
