Pie is like a hug. It is pure comfort and love even though it comes in a humble appearance. Rustic but never out of style, pie can be sweet or savory and this time around I made a sweet pie–strawberry pie. I mostly followed Joy the Baker’s Strawberry Lattice Pie recipe. I very much recommend it as everyone in my family loved it. This pie was scarfed down quick, y’all. I barely had time to take pictures. Now, my finished product doesn’t look the best but I’m working on my pie game. I recently discovered Art of the Pie at my library and knew I had to own a copy and ordered one. I’m waiting for it in the mail but once it’s here I can’t wait to dig in. More pie is very much in my future!
