I feel so accomplished and it’s barely even February! I’m trying to push myself to grow creatively. It’s not only good for the mind but also for the soul. I finished my first ever Icelandic sweater and knit my very first cable! Cables were always something I admired but wasn’t sure I could do, but now that I’m learning to do it, I’m discovering it’s not as complicated as I thought. As with anything, the first project is always scary but with each new knit my confidence grows.
I also took a paint and sip class and enjoyed the experience so much I ended up buying another art class–this one being online. And of course there are so many other things I would love to learn–how to play a musical instrument, speak another language, vegetable gardening, and so on.
I try to tell myself that I have time–time to learn and explore–and that I shouldn’t overwhelm myself. I often wonder how people can ever be bored. The world is so big and there is much to discover. Don’t limit yourself. Don’t ever stop learning, my friends!
