Autumn days mean knitting, baking, going to the fair, walking for breast cancer awareness, and decorating for Halloween. The days are getting shorter but cozier. I’ve been working on a pair of twined mittens that I can’t wait to wear this winter. It isn’t quite cold enough here yet to wear them but I can feel the change of weather and it makes me want to knit all the more.

I’ve also been in a Halloween decorating mode. Two of my favorite crafty makes for Halloween include these milk jugs, which you can find the tutorial for it here, and these life size ghosts with the printables here. I also made some wicked witch legs by stuffing an old pair of tights with newspaper. All the festivity around the house makes me smile every time I arrive home from work.

How are you celebrating these autumn days?
