I love cake. There, I have confessed. I could eat cake everyday. I could eat cake multiple times throughout the day. The more chocolate the better. Now, I know this is not healthy, so I do not do it. In fact, I hope you don’t either. All that sugar really can’t be good. But I think cake once in a while is a must! I mean, come on, what is life without cake!
My good friend Ina (not really, but one can wish to be Ina Garten’s good friend) has this wonderful recipe for Chocolate Cake with Mocha Frosting and I just had to try it out. If you love yourself some coffee then make this cake! It’s rich and decadent and I think best served with a scoop of ice cream. The recipe makes one large rectangle cake but I made two round cakes instead because I just had to use my new cake stand.
